Odin — The Allfather
Norse — Warrior · Architect · Provider
The Pattern
Odin is one of the great convergence figures — a sovereign who embodies all three Pillars simultaneously. He is a war-god who leads the Einherjar, a seeker of wisdom who sacrificed an eye at Mímir's well and hung nine nights on Yggdrasil to discover the runes, and the ruler of Asgard's abundance who presides over Valhalla's endless feast.
He does not specialize. He converges.
The Sacrifice for Knowledge
Odin's defining act is not a battle but a sacrifice: he hung himself on the World Tree, pierced by his own spear, for nine days and nine nights, with no food and no water, to gain the runes — the fundamental symbols of knowledge, magic, and communication.
This is the Architect's sacrifice: the willingness to suffer for understanding. The runes are not weapons; they are tools. The warrior who discovers tools becomes something more than a warrior.
